Kojo Soboh, CEO of EMY Africa has been named among the top 50 young CEOs in Ghana 2022 by Avance Media and THEYCEO.com. The list also includes other inspiring young personalities like Dentaa Amoateng – CEO of Guba Enterprise, Sadiq Abdul Abu of 3Music Network, Gwyneth Gyimah Addo of Hair Senta, and Sammi Awuku, CEO of National Lottery Authority, among others.

In 2018, Forbes Africa Magazine featured him as one of the finest emerging event managers in Ghana, and boy was they right! Kojo Soboh has worked his way up ever since he founded EMY Africa in 2015. The company, which produces the annual EMY Africa Awards and the quarterly EMY Africa Magazine, has over the past few years set itself apart from its contemporaries.

The Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards has gained traction by awarding and gathering some of Ghana and Africa’s foremost names – leaders, magnates, and celebrities – at the event. Past recipients of the EMY Africa statuette include former President John Agyekum Kufuor, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, Sir Sam Jonah, Togbe Afede XIV, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong and Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, Azumah Nelson and Abedi Pele, Dr. Daniel Mckorley, Patricia Obo-Nai, to name a few.

The awards event has grown to become one of the biggest and most prestigious awards events in West Africa.

His magazine, the EMY Africa Magazine, complements the awards by addressing the people, places, ideas, and issues that shape men’s personal expressions, development, and experiences. Speaking to Kojo, he stated that he hopes to use the magazine to explore a side of personality storytelling that a lot of Africans are beginning to overlook.

Kojo Soboh was named among the top 50 young CEOs in Ghana in 2019. He was also named in the 2021 African Event Influencers list by Avance media and Oasis Magazine.
