A customer of the bank was identified in 2019 as a person of interest in a police investigation. The bank assisted the police to engage the customer, as part of the investigations.
Mindful of our obligations to keep these matters, including keeping customer information confidential, we are unable to provide a detailed response now, even in the face of material misstatements.
Despite the active case, we have provided and continue to provide a full suite of banking services to our customer in question.
A detailed narration of events can be provided with the express consent of our customer or by a court order.
