KNUST VC re-appointment faces court challenge; hearing set for July 30

The re-appointment of KNUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson is facing a court challenge.

Alumnus Kofi Clement Ohene Asare filed an injunction, claiming breaches of university statutes in her reappointment process, overseen by former Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah.

Asare argues the appointment procedure was not properly followed.

The Kumasi High Court will hear the case on July 30, 2024.
