In Ashaiman Lebanon, a man named Alfred Agoma, also known as Yehowa Nyagbe, attempted suicide by climbing a high-tension pole due to his struggle with kidney cancer and overwhelming medical bills.
Agoma, diagnosed at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, was unable to afford treatment, driving him to despair.
Fortunately, residents alerted emergency services, including the police, fire department, and Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), who worked together to safely rescue him.
