Gomoa Nyanyano Kakraba (C/R), Jan. 13, GNA - An eight-member Executive Committee of the Peace and Love Association, a developmental oriented association at Nyanyano Kakraba, was inducted into office at the weekend to steer the affairs of the Association for the next two years, The occasion coincided with the first Anniversary celebration of the Association.
Mr Samuel Aparyin Darbah is the Chairman, with Mr James Bonti as Vice Chairman while Nana Afrasi Brempong VII is the Secretary. Other members were Mr Alfred Owusu, Assistant Secretary, Mrs Cecilia Essando, Financial Secretary, Mrs Florence Bonti Treasure, Madam Adwo Ahemah, Organization and Miss Mary Akomani, Porter. Nana Obeng Wireabo V, Chief of the Nyanyano, who swore them into office, urged them to be transparent and to work hard because good leadership demands service and accountability. Nana Wireabo entreated them to adopt strategies and policies that would promote the association and also improve the living conditions of the people in the community.
He advised them to come together as one body because it is through unity that they could join resources to ensure the total development of the area. Nana Wireabo announced that a large number of people are now putting up buildings in the area, and urged land developers to, as matter of urgency, acquire proper documents on their land to avoid any future embarrassment.
