A tragic accident in Kpandai, Northern Region, on October 20 claimed the life of a police officer and left another seriously injured.
The officers, from the Formed Police Unit, were stationed at a checkpoint when it started raining.
They sought shelter at a filling station and attempted to stop two men on a motorbike, who refused to comply.
During the chase, the officers collided with a pedestrian, causing one officer to be thrown off the bike and suffer fatal injuries.
The other officer and one of the fleeing men are receiving treatment, while the second suspect is in police custody.
