The Kumasi-Ejisu roundabouts were constructed in 2004 as part of a Danish government funded reconstruction of the Konongo-Kumasi road.
Last year, Ministry of Roads and Highways promised removal of the roundabouts to avert further accidents and reduce traffic congestion.
Project manager, Alexander Wireko Brown who is tasked to remove the structures says work will be completed in four months.
Motorists and passengers who ply the stretch are happy about the move and anticipate good execution of the work.
