Accra, March 15, GNA - Burial takes place at Kyebi on Saturday, March 19, of Sophia Twum-Barima, former Public Relations Officer of the Accra Office of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
According to burial arrangements, pre-burial service would be held at the Hope Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Sakomono at 0900 hours after which the body would be conveyed to Kyebi.
Final funeral rites would be held at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church Park at Sakumono after the burial service. Memorial and thanksgiving service would be held at the Hope Congregation on Sunday, March 20.
Ms Twum-Barima passed away at the Leister Hospital in the United Kingdom on Saturday, December 18, 2010.
Ms Twum-Barima, who was a member of the 1978 Year Group of Aburi Girls Senior High School, was a Chief Reporter at the Ghana News Agency (GNA) before joining WHO.
