The contractor for the Takoradi-Agona Nkwanta dual-carriageway, Justmoh Construction Ltd, has asked residents along the 23-kilometer route to be patient amid dust and traffic issues as the project continues.
Speaking to journalists, CEO Dr. Justice Amoh assured that the team is committed to timely completion, regularly watering dusty areas, especially in the dry season.
The $108.6 million project, launched in March 2024, is set for completion by March 2027 and aims to reduce travel time and costs.
The Ghana Highway Authority’s John Essah Amissah noted the plan includes dualizing the route, adding two concrete bridges, and improving traffic flow to benefit both the Western Region and the ECOWAS trade corridor.
