Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has taken firm action against unauthorized vendors around the newly commissioned Flower Pot Interchange.
In a widely circulated video, the minister is seen removing tables and chairs from hawkers who ignored earlier warnings to vacate the area.
The crackdown aligns with efforts to preserve the interchange's structural integrity and aesthetic value while ensuring its purpose of easing traffic congestion is fulfilled.
Despite prior directives during the commissioning, vendors returned shortly after to resume operations.
Authorities have pledged stricter measures to prevent further unauthorized activities around the Spintex-Flower Pot Interchange.
