The Volta Regional Coordinating Council has launched the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), a new initiative aimed at enhancing the region's road network.
Spearheaded by the Government of Ghana in collaboration with stakeholders like J. A. Plant Pool Ghana Limited, the Ministry of Local Government, and the Ministry of Roads and Transport, DRIP aims to improve road accessibility, create jobs, and boost economic growth.
Volta Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts from all involved parties and the need for adherence to technical standards to ensure the programme's success.
The initiative will also provide essential road construction equipment to local assemblies.
