We’re probing alleged abandonment of patient at Gomoa Ojobi – GHS

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has launched an investigation into reports of a patient allegedly abandoned in a bush at Gomoa Ojobi in the Central Region.

A video circulating on social media shows a woman wrapped in sheets left in the bush, with claims that an ambulance from the Trauma and Specialist

Hospital in Winneba was responsible. GHS Director-General Patrick Kuma-Aboagye stated that the investigation aims to verify the story's authenticity in line with public service protocols.

The GHS has urged the public to remain patient as the investigation proceeds.
