Employees of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in the Kadjebi District, working under Zoomlion, have threatened to stop working if their 18-month overdue allowances are not paid within two weeks.
The workers, some of whom have been with the company for up to 18 years, report severe financial hardships, including evictions and inability to afford medical treatment, leading to deaths and serious health issues.
Team leader Johnson Asiamah urged YEA to expedite payments to alleviate their suffering, emphasizing the urgency for their livelihoods and well-being.
