Stop idolising Men of God

The General Overseer of the Conquerors Redemption Ministry International (CRMI), Apostle Richard Akwasi Dwumfour, has charged Ghanaians to stop idolising Religious Leaders and other public figures striving to bring them to the status of God.

He retreated that, this is an abominable act, and that God has clearly commanded us in Exodus 20:4 to desist from such acts.

In an interview, he mentioned that most congregants always try to elevate the Men of God to a miniature “god Status’ due to the various miracles and testimonies that God is using them to do while some Men of God are also lavishing in such abominable glory.

We are just clay in the hands of the potter who is the Almighty God, and so he chooses to do with us what he so wish.

Apostle Dwumfour was speaking in an interview ahead of the churches preparation to celebrate its 12th Annual Harvest to be held at the church’s Auditorium at Achimota Neoplan, behind the collapsed Melcom Building from Tuesday, December 2 to Friday 5th December 2014 6:30 pm Each Night.  Sunday, 7 December 2014, will be the Thanksgiving Day from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

This Year’s Celebration will be under the theme: “Worship in His Presence” and it will feature renowned Gospel Diva Esther Opiesie.

Apostle Dwumfour explained that the theme for the Celebration was meant to draw people closer to the throne of Grace, as the flood Gates of heaven will always open once we lift up a sacrifice of Holy Worship. Admission is Free.
