Accra World Book Capital: 'Meet Mulgheta!, An experience with a blind footballer' to be held at the School for the Blind

While we explore the joy in reading especially during this moment of the UNESCO Accra World Book Capital, one of the leading international publishing firms in Ghana, Sub Saharan Publishers, in partnership with its mother association, Ghana Publishers Association do not want to leave the physically challenged (in terms of sight) out.

In this light they are organizing what promises to be a magical moment of reading and conversation with students of School for the blind-Akropong, Akuapem with Mulgheta Russom, one of the best blind footballers, fitness trainers and masseurs in Germany.

The day would end with a soccer fiesta by the students with their international guest after donation of jerseys, footballs for the blind and reading materials.

The event set to happen on Friday, 17 November, 2023 at the School for the blind, Akropong, Akuapem is under the name “Meet Mulgheta! an experience with a blind footballer”.

Participation is free. Supporters of this literary cum sports initiative include Read Ghana Read Consult, GBC 24, ATV, Graphic Sports, Pan African Tv, Ghanaweb, Happy fm, Spectator, Graphic showbiz and Unesco Ghana.
