English Premier League side Leicester City will release Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey when his current contract expires on June 30, 2023.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the player has been refused a new contract and the Foxes technical team are already in the market talking to a host of players as replacements.
Amartey who has played 19 EPL games for Leicester this season has come under serious criticism from manager Brendan Rogers for his uninspiring performances which has cost the club many times.
He joined Leicester in January 2016 from FC Copenhagen for 6 Million Pounds and was part of the team which won the EPL that year.
Olympique Marseille which the player clains he supports is one of the team who are after his services.
