How a woman can know she is fertile and when to have Sex for her to get pregnant

Sat, 7 Jan 2023 Source: Ghana Trends

According to Mayo Clinic, a woman can monitor her menstrual cycle and figure out when she will ovulate by looking at the cervical mucus. Cervical mucus is seen in a woman's intimate organ through the cervix. It helps to prevent infections in addition to maintaining moisture in a woman's intimate organ. A lady who is about to ovulate can notice mucous signs on her underwear. Her private organ discharge may rise if a lady is producing fertile cervical mucus. A lady is approaching her ovulation cycle if she gets a clear or white discharge.

It is important to realise that fertile cervical fluid makes it easier for a man's sperm to enter a woman's cervix and fertilise an egg there. Before ovulation, a woman will have fertile discharge, which may get wetter for a few days. Once ovulation is complete in a woman, the discharge will reduce. Before she may spot a fertile discharge, a woman needs to follow her cycle for a few months.

Ovulation makes it possible for a woman to assess the cervical fluid's consistency. There may not be significant changes in the discharge from a woman's private organs if she doesn't ovulate.

When a woman feels fertile, she should begin having intimacy if she wants to get pregnant according to Mayo Clinic. A woman's private organ can hold a man's sperm for three to five days, while an egg can only stay there for 12 to 24 hours after ovulation.

This indicates that if a man and a woman engage in intimacy before she starts to ovulate, he might be able to pregnant with her because the sperm cells will stay in her body for a few days. As soon as ovulation starts, if the sperm is already present, it can fertilise the egg.

See a doctor right away to figure out what's wrong if you've been trying to get pregnant for more than a year.
