Dancehall King Shatta Wale has wholeheartedly permitted the Citizens of Gabon to use his songs for what ever they want for free.
There has been a dispute regarding copyright infringement, as some artistes have allegedly remixed Shatta Wale’s songs without obtaining proper authorization. In many cases the songs are directly translated from English to French language.
A viral video pops up on social media when some Gabon artists used and translated Shatta Wale's song in French which got fans reacting that they can be sue for copyrighting someone's effort without his concern.
Shatta Wale upon hearing and seeing this on social media has quickly responded positivity on this.
Shatta Wale wrote on his main Facebook Page telling the artistes to feel free to use his songs for anything they want in terms of remixing and reproduction and many more.
He said, "I will never sue No Gabon artiste that has used my songs to be who they are today .I can only encourage and support them for believing in SHATTA MOVEMENT ! A king is never respected and honored in his own country!!! GABON HAS SHOWN ME TOO MUCH LOVE AND AFRICA IS ABOUT TO SEE MORE. Gabon artiste you are free to do what ever with my music . Celebrate shatta cuz they don’t celebrate me in Ghana like that .. Fuck it up more ,I love it. Thank you Gabon. Am coming soon."

According to Shatta wale in his Facebook post said, he's never celebrated in his own country "Ghana ". So since he's seen foreigners using and crediting his good works has boosted him so much. So therefore he has permitted them so use his music for anything.
