I am depressed, crying and hopeless - 'I changed ownership of the assets of my late husband to a boyfriend, now he has changed completely

Please I need help, I am depressed, crying and hopeless. 

 My husband died in November 2022. My husband had a lot of houses that were known by the two of us. We had shops we were renting. When my husband got sick (cancer), he was almost always in bed until his death in November last year.

I already had a boyfriend but was still in marriage, since I knew that my husband was unwell I decided to hide the papers for our properties.

I gave them to my boyfriend, and he advised me to change the names and put him because the family of my husband will have no grounds to sue me in case of suspicion or rumours about our things. I blindly did this to protect my two children so that we can have these things to ourselves without my husband's family interfering after his death. 

The boyfriend is now refusing to hand over ownership to me, he is saying that I can take him wherever I want. He is even calling me a slut. He doesn't pick up my calls. I was leaving my sick husband just to attend to this evil man.

I am in a very complicated situation because I can't share this issue with my husband's relatives to help me. They will fight me because currently, they are the ones feeding us.  

Anyone with knowledge of the law please advise me. Those with similar experiences or just wisdom on this matter help your sister. I know I did the wrong thing but I am in the mess. I didn't know this man can be this crooked and evil. Help me, please.
