Lizzy Kamonde who is a pastor from Nairobi painfully narrates how she was told by her Bishop to leave her fiance, and marry his single brother and she regretted it.

According to her, she was born into a Christian family in Kiambu. She has three siblings and her parents are pastors. She grew up in church and when she finished her college education she relocated to Nairobi.

She said that she joined a church and due to her ability to sing well she joined the praise and worship team. She was immediately noticed by the church bishop because of her talent and she became a follower of the church.

According to Liz, she was dating a young man she had met while in college and she was ready to get married. She told her bishop about her intentions to get married and the bishop informed her that her fiance was not God-sent and she needed to leave him.

She was heartbroken but because she didn't want to disappoint her bishop she broke up with her fiance and blocked his number. She remained single as she asked the bishop to pray for her to find a husband.

She said that after a month the pastor informed her that God had informed him that she needed to get married to his single brother. She was surprised at first but after a few days, she was introduced to him by the bishop.

Liz wasn't interested in him at first but she was convinced by the Bishop that it was God's will for her to get married to his brother. She agreed and her family tried to stop her and she refused.

She got married in church and after a month she got pregnant. Her husband showed no interest in their marriage and he spent more time in church than at home. He ignored her on most occasions and he would leave for days without informing her of his whereabouts.

She said that when she was six months her husband told her that he was forced into marrying her and he wasn't interested in her anymore. He left their matrimonial home and she relocated to a smaller house because she couldn't afford the rent.

"My husband abandoned me while I was pregnant and I couldn't afford the house rent." She said.

She informed her parents about what had happened and she relocated to her parent's house where she gave birth. Her husband never came to see her and their child after he was born. Her parents welcomed her to their church where she became a pastor.

She said that she regrets getting married to her husband and she believes that she would have given herself time to know her husband before marriage.
