Ghanaian media personality, TV and radio broadcaster and digital entrepreneur, Jessica Opare-Saforo has joined the list of Ghanaians with the highest number of subscribers on YouTube.
On Tuesday, March 21, she took to Twitter to announce this feat.
She wrote: “There will be a few times in ur life when all ur instincts will tell u to do something. Something that defies logic, upsets ‘ur’ plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, listen to ‘ur’ instinct and just go 4 it. Take that leap of faith. We’re 1 million strong!”
She ranks as the third Ghanaian to hit a million subscribers on YouTube, after Ghanaian Youtuber, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya and SweetAdjeley, a Ghanaian Food Blogger.
In January last year, Jessica quit her job at Citi, after about 17 years of being with the firm and over 20 years of being in the media industry.
The news came to many, especially her fans, as a surprise. Subsequently, she launched a strong social media presence, with her “relationship YouTube channel.”
