My husband told me his cult doesn't allow him to stay with an uncircumcised woman after giving birth

Lucy Wanjiru from Murang'a county sadly reveals what her husband told her after siring one child with him. She was left in utter disbelief since he had never mentioned anything of the sort before they got married.

Lucy was brought up by her grandmother after she ran away from home due to the harassment she got from her stepfather. Life was difficult, but she managed to study up to class eight, then later dropped out due to lack of school fees. She started doing ordinary jobs for a living since her grandmother wasn't financially stable.

She got a job as a house girl, and she did the work diligently. However, while in her line of duty, she met a man whom they fell in love. According to her, they didn't take time to date and within a short period of time they had already moved in together. 

Marriage life was good at the beginning, although her in laws never used to like her, especially the mother to her husband. She claimed that people from their community were witches and that her son had made the wrong decision to marry her. Lucy endured all that, and she got gave birth to two children regardless.

Time went by, and the husband developed a cold shoulder towards her. He would refuse to come home most of the nights and when Lucy asked him, he answered her rudely. One day, out of nowhere, the husband came and informed her that he wanted her to be circumcised since the cult he was in didn't allow him to live with an uncircumcised woman.

Lucy was left in utter disbelief, since he hadn't told her of any cult he was in. The husband insisted on the idea of circumcision, but Lucy refused. He got angry and left the house, then later came back with three men.

He ordered for them to beat her thoroughly for refusing to honor his demands. It was traumatizing, since they left her almost half dead and bleeding profusely. Luckily, the neighbors heard her children crying helplessly and came to inquire what the problem was.

They found her in a bad state and offered to rush her to hospital. She was treated and luckily, she survived. She swore never to go back to her husband's house thereafter. The scars are still fresh in her mind up to date, and she finds it hard to forgive the husband.
