A man who reserved a room in Kamkunji, where he reportedly violated three youngsters, has been detained by Nairobi police.
A police complaint states that the man allegedly reserved a room for the weekend in one of the city's hotels, where he allegedly assaulted and sexually assaulted the three youngsters, who were all 17 years old.
According to the police, the man's cover was blown when the three young guests told a hotel staff member what was happening in the room.
The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated, was afterwards detained by the authorities and kept at the Kamkunji police station.
The minors were also brought to the hospital for examinations by the doctors.
Police are attempting to determine how the youngsters left their homes and ended up in the company of the suspect, who had spent the majority of the day consuming alcohol, after being arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts.
