64-Year-Old Ghanaian Man Based in London Opens Up Why He Has Never Married till Now

Marriage is a divine institution established by God. The institution of marriage was the first fundamental element of human society. The institution of marriage involves a covenant between a man, a woman, and God based on mutual consent.

For many, marriage has been a source of blessing, they enjoy it because it has transformed their life. On the contrary, for others, the marriage institution has led them to failure and destroyed their life completely for which reason they don’t want to encourage the upcomers to join that institution of marriage.

For that matter, the latest data gathered by the “2021 Population and Housing Census” (PHC) revealed that 553,065 persons in Ghana had their marriages dissolved while 405,090 separated.

These figures were obtained through interviews of people during the 2021 PHC which began on June 27 and ended on August 15, 2021.

Concerning marriage, a Ghanaian security man based in London during an interview with a Ghanaian television and radio personality, Caleb Elolo Adjomah popularly known in the shobiz industry as Giovani Caleb, indicated that even though he is 64 years old, he has never married.

According to him, the institution called marriage is one that he dreads and has not thought of being part of. To him, staying single and having peace of mind is one of his life’s dreams and he is living it to the fullest.

He disclosed; “I don’t have a wife and I don’t have children so...never had a wife before, never had children before. I don’t know why but I don’t want to bump into a woman that will come and finish me off.

He continued; Really I’m telling you, brother. I fear women, I respect women but I fear women because they can make you or they can break you so I always pray to God that he should help me get the right one.”

Do you somehow agree with the man?
