According to reports, a mother in Samreboi, in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality has forced her 3- year old girl to sit in boiling water because her daughter did not return one of the sandals she bought for 8 Ghana Cedis.
Hence, the mother boiled water and placed the child in, as a form of punishment which resulted in severe injuries.
According to "Spice 91.9FM" on the Adekyee Mu Nsem Morning Show, the child has been sent to the Okomfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi for treatment.
It is alleged that the child can neither walk nor sit due to the severity of the injuries.
The case has thus been reported to the Samreboi Police Station for investigations
