I’ve Stopped Giving Out Money to My Friends – Shatta Wale Explains why

Tue, 13 Sep 2022 Source: Michael Djan

Money is a touchy subject in relationships — even in friendships. If you make more than your friends, you may feel like lending your money to them otherwise you may be insecure or afraid to lose your friendship.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known in the music industry as Shatta Wale, has explaned for his recent refusal to provide financial support to his friends.

In a recent interview, Blakk Rasta disclosed that “while Shatta Wale has one of the largest music fan bases in the nation, he has failed to use his power to benefit his followers.”

He added that; “Shatta Wale frequently boasts on social media about his pricey jewelry and other possessions, but he hasn’t used his fortune to improve the lives of his devoted followers.”

In response to Blakk Rasta, Shatta Wale revealed in a viral video on social media that he has stopped giving his friends some money because of their bad intentions, despite the fact that he has a decent heart.

He claimed to have come to the realization that the majority of his friends—to whom he had really lent a helping hand—had been supporting and following him just for the sake of his money, not out of love for him or his work.

He stated that he would rather donate to his followers because they have shown sincere admiration for his work and have never had any expectations of him.

According to him, he has done his best to contribute back to society.
