According to “Sports Brief News”, Sharaf Mahama, son of Ghana's former President John Mahama, is close to joining a club in England. The aspiring footballer has been on trials in England and could be making a move in the summer transfer window.
In a video posted on social media, the young Mahama admitted he is passionate about the game and will soon make an announcement on his step.
"I'm in England right now but I am on trials, trying to sign for a club," he told Betty Yawson's Untold Stories. "Hopefully, you will hear big news soon," he added.
"It's been my passion since I was young, I have been watching and playing football my whole life so I've just carried it on and now I want to make it my profession." Pressed to reveal the team he is on trials with, Sharaf stated he is training with a couple of team and will make it public when he officially makes a move.
Sharaf Mahama tried his luck at some clubs in Europe and had a short trial with West Africa Football Academy in Ghana.
