This throwback picture you’ve seen is the humble beginnings of the Rawlings family.
This photo was taken over three decades ago, the throwback photo featured former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings with her four adorable children.
Zanetor Rawlings and Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings both rocked natural hair braids while Amina wore an afro hair while the little boy Kimathi is sitting on the mother’s leg.
Therefore, since men were rarely at homes, it was the duty of the mother to ensure that expected norms and values were imparted to children. This was Africa home.
