Throwback Photo of Ghana's Legend John Paintsil Causes a Stir On Social Media

Sat, 16 Jul 2022 Source: Michael Djan

John Paintsil (born June 15, 1981) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who is an assistant manager at Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League.

He played club football for Berekum Arsenal, Liberty Professionals, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, West Ham United, Fulham, Leicester City, Santos and Maritzburg United as well as internationally for Ghana.

The photo above is former black star player John Paintsil leading his school at Independence Day Parade.

He was one player in the team who had so much confidence and calmness that he made most of their matches a non-forgettable one.

Twitter users couldn’t hide their excitement after spotting the size of his trousers.

One of the users who impressed me wrote, “wicked tailor.”

The tailor wasn’t wicked but that was the fashion trend in the 80s and late 90s.

People have shared some comments about this picture. But what word or sentence will you like to describe our legend John Paintsil?
