The Sunyani born star moved from Torino FC to FC Empoli in the summer of 2018 for a fee of 1Mill. €. The Ghanaian star started his footballing career from Ashanti Gold SC. He has played in Ghana, Germany and he is currently playing as midfielder for Saudi club Al-Batin.

John Boye is one of the richest football players in Ghana. The 1.85 cm tall defender played for FC Metz. The Accra born footballer moved to FC Metz from Sivasspor in the summer of 2018.

John Boye showcased sparkling brilliance at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations from which his Ghanaian squad bagged a silver medal. The Ghanaian professional footballer plays as a defender for Al-Fayha.
