Very Sad! Man Shares Horrifying Story of How His Parents Burnt Him Over His Wife

Mon, 30 May 2022 Source: Michael Djan

He was nearly burnt alive by his biological parents for choosing a wife, as against the mystery woman his parents presented to him.

This is the story of a Rwandan indigene, identified as Mugabarigira Jean Claude, who is struggling on a daily basis with painful sores as a result of the abuse.

A young man told Afrimax TV and reported by betternewsgh about the horrific recollections of what he described as the worst abuse he has ever had in his almost 40 years on this planet.

He described how his parents were the normal loving people who did everything for him, but they went to the extreme when they made it their responsibility to choose a partner for him.

He, on the other hand, declined to date the woman, claiming that she was a mystery because she did not come from their small village.

His decision, he claimed, had enraged his family, but the worst was yet to come when he introduced Yvonne as the lady his heart desired.

On how he knew Yvonne was the perfect lady, he explained that they formed a friendship after she stood by him during the struggle he went through with his parents after the ‘mystery woman’ incident.

He married Yvonne, with whom he now has three children, despite tremendous resistance and disownment.

On the fateful day of the attack, he said his family paid him a visit when he was alone at home. Though it was unusual, he said he read no meanings into it.

Unbeknownst to him, a drink he was served had been laced with sleeping pills, which knocked him off and gave them the perfect opportunity to launch their attack.

It was later revealed that his parents doused him with petrol, dragged him inside his chamber and set him on fire.

He was saved by Yvonne, who arrived just in time before the entire home was destroyed by fire.

He was rescued and transported to the hospital with the aid of several neighbors, where he remained 22 days in a coma.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, he said that on the day he was released, his parents rushed his house and attacked him and his wife with stones.

His parents were able to flee when their screams for aid drew the attention of nearby residents, who vowed to confront the couple if they returned.

When asked whether she is tired of the ongoing harassment and if she feels guilty, Yvonne stated that her love for him is all that counts to her, and she will stand by his side for the rest of her life.

Should Parents Choose Their Children's Partners to Marry?

From my humble point of view, Parents can suggest their son/daughter who could be good as a wife or husband.

Of course, they have more experience, but parents should not force their son/daughter to marry someone they like rather they should allow them to choose someone he/she likes and wants to spend the rest of his life.
