A pregnant woman in her eighth month is raped by an Okada rider who is in his forties at Irabi. According to reports, the pregnant woman was picked up by an okada rider named John Akpo at 7 p.m. from the market to her home, but en route, he forcibly dragged her into a bush and raped her.
When the woman fell unconscious, the rider assumed she was already dead, so he dragged her to the bank of a river and dumped her there. The woman regain consciousness and couldn't get out of walk the next morning.
Her family members were looking for her and eventually found her there and took her to the hospital. The rapist was taken into custody after the incident was reported to the police.
