Ghana Tourism Authority Hosts Empowering Round Table for Women Entrepreneurs in Trade and Tourism

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), in collaboration with the "Beyond the Return" Secretariat and the Ghana Enterprise Agency, meticulously orchestrated a distinguished round table discussion, fostering an empowering dialogue for women entrepreneurs in trade and tourism.

This exquisite breakfast and the subsequent round table discourse unfolded harmoniously under the resounding theme, "Nurturing Strength in Diversity - Building the Capacity of Women Entrepreneurs in Trade and Tourism."

Stepping onto the platform, Mr.

Akwasi Agyeman the esteemed CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority passionately articulated the collaborative decision, reached in conjunction with influential women in tourism and the Ghana Enterprise Agency, to celebrate December in Ghana with a purposeful breakfast gathering.

The goal was to convene women, both local and from the diaspora, for an enriching round table session, strategically aimed at empowering women.

In recognizing the impactful partnership, the CEO acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Ghana Enterprise Agency and extended gratitude to CEO Kosi Yankey-Ayeh (Mrs.), emphasizing their shared commitment to advancing women in tourism and trade.

The CEO further highlighted the significance of the round table, seeking to explore avenues for collaboration and empowerment.

Noteworthy dignitaries gracing the platform included the distinguished Regina Martins, Vice Mayor of North Lauderdale, Miami-Florida, USA, and the esteemed Ambassador Nancy Sam, Tourism Ambassador of Miami Dade County, USA.
