National Chairman Of NDC Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo Breaks Silence After Mr Nketia Snatched His Seat.

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, a Ghanaian politician and a former Member of Parliament and former District Chief Executive for the Fanteakwa North district of the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is also a former Eastern Regional Minister and a former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to the report, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has breaks silence after Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia defeated him with 5,574 votes representing 65.17% over the National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairman position. Mr Samuel Ofosu obtained 2,892 votes which consist of 33.81% losing his seat to Mr Nketia popularly known as General Mosquito.

Though Mr Samuel Ofosu's hope of leading the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to victory in 2024 was dashed, he pledged to work harder with the new executives for their victory.

He said;

"I re-dedicate myself to the bigger task of working for victory in 2024 and pledge my unalloyed commitment to work even harder for the party together with the elected National officers, and the rank and file of our great party to achieve our ultimate goal of regaining power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 election"
