GFA Breaks Silence On Receiving $800,000 By The Finance Minister

The Ghana Football Associatio has released a fact check about them receiving a sum of money in their account.




Collins Atta Poku a renowned sports journalist in the morning alleged that the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has paid a sum of $800,000 to the Ghana Football Association.

He said the sum of money given to them was to settle the costs for matches played.

"Got in touch with 3 Majority MPs who told me they were dismayed to find out the Finance Minister paid almost $800,000 to Ghana Football Association just last week,in spite of the challenges we face. The money covers their expenditure in Brazil and Nicaragua games," his tweet read on October 25.

Fast forward, thr GFA has said the statement said is false for they haven't received such amount.

They made it known in the available information that the statement issued by Collins is a calculated lie to pitch the public against GFA.
