Alex Konadu was a Ghanaian guitarist. He made a great cotribution to the Highlife music industry in Ghana. His ability to draw crowds got him the nickname "One Man Thousand". It is rumored that he performed in every single town and village in Ghana.

He was born in 1948 at Adwumakase Kese in the Kwabere No. 3 ih the Ashanti Regon of Ghana. Before going as a solo artist, he was part of the Kantamanto Bosco Group, the Kwabena Akwaboah, and then the Happy Brothers Band. He was signed by record producer A. K. Brobbey.

Alex Konadu died in Kumasi at age 63 on 18 January 2011.
