Ayam Atia is a Ghanaian politician. He was a member of the first parliament of the second republic of Ghana, a member of the National Alliance of Liberals, and the MP for the Zebilla Constituency.

Education and early life

He was born in 1940 in the Upper West Region of Ghana. He obtained a Teachers'Training Certificate from the Government Teacher Training College, Pusiga, and the Government Teacher Training College, Tamale.

Politics

Prior to the 1969 parliamentary elections, he became the parliamentary candidate for the National Alliance of Liberals (NAL) to represent the Zebilla constituency.

Ayam Atia was suspended following the overthrow of the Busia Government on 13 January 1972.
