Daniel Abdulai Bayensi is was a Ghanaian politician, journalist, and member of the Progress Party. He was a member of the first parliament of the second republic of Ghana representing the Nalerigu constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana.

He was born on 10 May 1940 in Ghana. He obtained a G.C.E Ordinary level from the Nalerigu Middle School and Tamale Government Secondary and has a Diploma respectively in Journalism.

Career

In 1969, he was appointed the parliamentary candidate to represent his constituency; Nalerigu in the Northern Region of Ghana prior to the commencement of the 1969 Ghanaian parliamentary election held on 26 August 1969.

He worked in this capacity until 13 January 1972 when the Busia government was overthrown.
