Elvis Afriyie Ankrah is a Ghanaian politician and the former minister for youth and sports in Ghana.
He obtained a GCE Ordinary Leve from the Okuapemman Secondary School and graduated in 1984, the sixth form of education from the Winneba Secondary School in 1988, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in English, Drama, and Linguistics from the University of Ghana from 1992 to1996.
He also obtained a certificate in Business and Administrative Computing from the London College of Computing and Electronics in 1986. He holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs.
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah also has a certificate in Public Relations, Marketing, and Advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
CareerHe worked with AMOGA Works (a garment factory) as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director from 1984 to 1986.

He was a parliamentary candidate in Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the December 2000 elections representing the National Democratic Congress.
Deputy National Campaign Manager for the 2008 and National Campaign Coordinator for 2012 Presidential Campaigns of the National Democratic Congress and both Presidents, John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama.
He was also appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development by President Mills.
