Joseph Bukari Alhassan was a Ghanaian politician and a member of the Progress Party. He was also a member of the first parliament of the second republic of Ghana representing the Gonja Central constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana.
In 1969, he was elected member of the first parliament of the second republic of Ghana and was succeeded by Seidu Zakaria of the People's National Party during the 1979 Ghanaian general elections.
