Joseph Kofi Amankwah is a Ghanaian politician. He was a member of the First Parliament of the Second Republic of Ghana. He represented the Wenchi West constituency and was a member of the Progress Party.

He was born in 1934, in Ghana. Joseph Amankwah attended the School of Social Welfare in Accra for his G.C.E Advanced level Certificate in Social Work and Probation Services.

He was a member of parliament for the Wenchi West constituency from October 1 1969 until 13 January 1972.
