Lydia Azuele Akanbodiipo was a Ghanaian politician. She was a member of the first parliament of the Second Republic of Ghana and a member of the National Alliance of Liberals (NAL).
She was born on 14 October 1942 in the Upper West Region of Ghana. She obtained a Diploma degree in Physical Education from Winneba Training College.
In 1969, she became the parliamentary candidate for the National Alliance of Liberals representing the Sandema constituency prior to the commencement of the 1969 Ghanaian parliamentary election.
Lydia also once served as opposition chief whip.
