Nana Ama Amponsah began her musical career in 2005, releasing her first gospel CD "Eye Awurade Na Aye". Previously Nana Ama exclusively sang in her church, however with the encouragement of her husband Nana Ama decided to branch out into the professional music business.

Her debut CD features 10 tracks with songs that feature beats from many different genera of music including reggae.
