Sidiku Buari is a Ghanaian musician and athlete.
He attended the Government Boys School and the African College.
He was a silver medallist at the All-Africa Games held in Dakar, Senegal, in 1963 in the 400 meters race. He was also a bronze medallist on the 4 x 400 meters relay Ghana team at the 1965 All-Africa Games held in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.
In 1966, he moved to New York to study music at the New York School of Music. While studying interior decoration at the La Sale University in Chicago, Illinois he played non-professional baseball.
Upon his return to Ghana in 1985, he released an album called "Africa Responds" which won him an Entertainers Critics and Reviewers Association of Ghana (ECRAG) award. He has 16 albums to his name.
Siduku Buari is a former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and former vice president of the International Federation of Musicians (FIM).
He is the father of Nadia Buari an actress, Shaida Buari, Miss Ghana 2002, and Malik Buari who is also a Footballer.
