PROFILE OF REVEREND STEPHEN ESSIAMAH, THE NEW ASSIN NORTH DISTRICT PASTOR

Reverend Stephen Essiamah, the newly inducted Assin North District Pastor & Lead pastor of Grace Temple Assemblies of God Assin Atonsu was born on 18th July, 1973 at Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana. He was brought up at Asawasi-Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana to Mr.J.B Essiamah and Mrs. Sarah Essiamah, He comes from Agona Odoben in the central region of Ghana. Mrs. Evelyn Essiamah is the name of his lovely wife and God has blessed them with one biological daughter Stephanie Adwoa Essiamah, who is currently schooling at University of Amsterdam.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

He spent the first five years of his Primary education (1-5) at Dichemso Nigreshion Preparatory

School in Kumasi from 1978-1982. Furthermore, he continued his primary school and part of Middle school at Asawasi L/A in Kumasi, from 1982-1987. He completed Middle school at D/C 'A' in 1988 at Assin Foso He pursued a course in building and construction at Biriwa NVTI from 1991-1993. He then continued his education at Cape Coast Technical Institute in 1994 and completed the same year. There, he obtained a City and Guilds Certificate in Building and Construction. He wrote and passed "O level examination in 1995. His quest for Knowledge took him to Takoradi Polytechnic where he obtained the following certificates (Building and Construction Advanced Certificate. Construction Technician 1 & 2) in 1994-1997.

Reverend Essiamah did Distance courses with Atlantic Engineering (USA) from where he was awarded Bsc. & Master Civil Engineering. His academic ambition took him to University of Cape Coast where he obtained Bachelor of Commerce (Management option) in 2010. In addition, He obtained a Diploma Certificate in Theology and a Bachelor of Art (Theology) Certificate from international School of Ministry, USA Masters of Arts in Mission studies at the Eastgate International Christian University. Now persuing Doctorate degree in strategic management and leadership Christian's University USA

WORK EXPERIENCE

In 1991, the Biriwa NVTI Authorities took Rev. Essiamah and his class on an 8 month intensive Practical Training with Lintop Construction Company at Tema Community 5. Through hard work and determination, he was moved from apprenticeship within 6months to the position of site supervisor during the construction of the Members of Parliament (MPs) building at Sakumono, Community 13 in 1992. He later as Foreman the Japanese Company, Enogo project during the construction of the National Theatre in Accra. In 2000, Rev. Essiamah registered his company Stekess Construction Company and became a building contractor till the year 2014 he decided to pursue his calling as a messenger of God.

CONVERSION AND CALL TO THE MINISTRY

On 18th July, 1999 in Accra, Rev Essiamah had a dream in which he saw fire in the form of rain drop from the heavens. People started running helter-skelter and whoever received a drop of rain fell down and died. Surprisingly, those who run towards where Rev. Essiamah was standing were saved. He heard the very still loud voice, 'I love you and I will use you as such. There and then he surrendered, gave his entire life to the Almighty God and became a totally born-again child of God. After his conversion, he returned to Assin Foso and became a member of Light House A/G in 2001. Rev. Abban prophesized to Rev. Essiamah that he will start his calling at Assin Foso but he will not end his calling at Assin Foso. After his conversion, Mr. Kenneth Abruquah helped him to understand the Bible, how to preach, teach and evangelize. In the year 2010, Prophet Nana Mensah Agyepong encouraged him to attend Bible School which he obliged. Before His enrolment to the Bible School, Rev. Essiamah served under Rev. Dr. John Apenkwa Brown for 10. years.
