Tony, a Ghanaian man, is pursuing justice after disclosing that he spent GHC120,000 to marry a pregnant police officer whom he later claimed was carrying the child of another man.

His wife Belinda Asantewaa disclosed her pregnancy to him only two weeks prior to their wedding, but he still agreed to marry her.

Tony shared his ordeal on a Kumasi-based Oyerepa Fm radio program, where he claimed that his policewoman wife gave his child to a customs official.

A second man made the same claim and insisted that the infant was his offspring.

"I am married to Belinda Asantewaa, a police officer who resides in Cape Coast and works at Bakaano Police Station; we have been married for one year and six months. She informed me one day into our marriage that she was one month expectant. We nevertheless married, and she gave birth. After I learned that another man had also come to name the child with her mother present, he narrated how agonizing it was.

Upon confronting his wife and her family, he learned that the biological father was a prominent customs officer who did not wish for the matter to be made public.

Since then, he has demanded reimbursement for the money he spent on the nuptials, but his family has refused to reimburse him.

"They requested a list of the costs associated with the engagement and wedding in order to reimburse me." I complied with their request and gave it to the father, a prominent police officer. After I gave them the list, the woman informed me that they do not have the funds to pay me. He added, "I've been waiting for over four months but have heard nothing from them."

However, he has demanded justice and brought attention to his wife's menacing behavior.
