After becoming president, Akufo-Addo abandoned God - Popular Prophet on President's Failures

Prophet Kusi Appiah, leader and founder of Charisma International Ministry, has disclosed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo failed many Ghanaians in his administration because he abandoned the deity who brought him to the throne.

Prophet Kusi Appiah, a prominent prophet in Kumasi, asserts that he knew Akufo-Addo to be a devout Christian prior to his election victory, but that he abruptly renounced his faith after winning the election.

"It hurts so much that when Akufo Addo was vying for the presidency, he believed in spiritualities, but I don't know what caused him to forsake them. He no longer believes in anything." This was revealed by Prophet Kusi Appiah in an interview with Angel FM Kumasi.

Moreover, he disclosed that the country's current economic woes could be attributed to the President's abandonment of God after he attained his goal of ascending to the highest office.

The man of God is of the opinion that the President is under intense spiritual assault, with the majority of the assaults emanating from illegal miners and galamsey operators.

On the program Angel in the Morning, Prophet Kusi Appiah told Kwame Tanko, "The majority of his attacks come from people who are actively involved in galamsey and are very spiritual."

A few months ago, the President was diagnosed with a strange illness that had the potential to terminate his life, but he was saved because he implemented the Free SHS policy.

In spite of these obstacles, he is sanguine that the President will be able to turn things around if he returns to the men of God who helped him become president."It will help him if he can make amends with the men of God one by one," he urged.
