Asamoah Gyan, a Ghanaian legend, has declared his willingness to assist his former club Liberty Professionals following their relegation last season.

Asamoah Gyan: I am willing to assist in any way relegated Liberty Professionals.

The club from Dansoman was relegated to Ghana's Division Two League after a disappointing season in the Ghana Premier League.

The Liberty continue to struggle in the second division, where they are presently ninth in Zone Three of the league and a long way from promotion.

Despite a legacy of producing some of Ghana's best players in recent years, the club is reportedly experiencing financial difficulties.

Gyan, who began his professional football career at Liberty before traveling to Europe, has stated that he is willing to assist the club in any way possible.

The veteran striker was quoted by Footballghana as saying, "Liberty Professionals has provided the national team with some great players."

Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Baffour Gyan, and I, among other athletes, play in the Division One League at the present time.

"I still value this club because it provided me with a platform." When requested, I am prepared to assist in any capacity, and I am confident that other former players will also be willing to assist."

Moreover, Gyan recently disclosed that his return to the Ghana Premier League was motivated by a desire to make an impact.

Before joining Legon Cities, the 37-year-old said he was aware that many local athletes looked up to him.

After more than a decade and a half absent from the Ghana Premier League, Gyan rejoined Legon Cities three years ago in an expensive transfer.

Although he spent a year with the Accra-based club, he played very little during that time due to nagging injuries.

Gyan stated to Premier League Productions that he desired to make an impact upon his return to his native country.
