Black Sherif's relationship with Sarkodie has changed him forever. Sarkodie is accused online of obstructing Black Sherif from shining.

Sarkodie has primarily faced criticism for stifling the success of up-and-coming or quickly-rising musicians after working with them on a song.

Some people think that Sarkodie purposefully offers free features to up-and-coming artists or inserts a verse on their song in order to overshadow them and stunt their development.

Following Black Sherif's appearance on Tema-based rapper Sarkodie's "Countryside song," a Ghanaian user of social media going by the handle @Founda on Twitter said that Sarkodie was obstructing Black Sherif's rise to fame.

Social media reports that Black Sherif has never been the same since working with Sarkodie.

According to @Founda Sarkodie and Black Sherif worked together on purpose to dim Sarkodie's light and impede his development.
