As a young musician struggling to find his footing in the music industry, Prophet Joseph Atarah has been through a lot. Now that God has blessed him, he believes it is time for Ghanaians to hear his narrative.

And what better way for him to convey his story and inspire other young musicians than through songs?

Therefore, on May 28 at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission Auditorium in Bawaleshie, Accra, the gospel singer will perform his first significant concert entitled Atarah Praise.

In addition to Prophet Atarah, the free event will feature Piesie Esther, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ruth Adjei, and Perez Music, among others.

Prophet Atarah, who won Gospel Artist of the Year at the Emerging Music Awards last year, told Graphic Showbiz after the concert's media launch last week that the event will also be used to gain souls for the kingdom of God.According to him, he plans to make Atarah Praise an annual event if the inaugural edition is successful.

The Adom Nyame singer added, "I want Atarah Praise to come and stay and feature other prominent musicians in subsequent years, all in the name of praising and thanking God for His goodness and blessings."

He elaborated on what prompted him to organize the concert by stating, "When I consider what God has done for me in the two years since I entered the gospel music industry, it astounds me. Although it has not been simple, God has been good to me, and I cannot thank Him enough. Therefore, I wish to honor Him with a concert.

The song Woye Odo featuring Piesie Esther by Prophet Atarah won 5star Artiste of the Year, 5star Song of the Year, and 5star Video of the Year at the 2020 Emerging Ghana Music Awards(eGMA).
